10. When someone asks how you feel you say “Big”
9. You lay on your side wondering how long you can put up with the hip pain because rolling over required about 10 movements and you're out of breath
8. You tell your husband you had the best dream and when he asks what it was about you say “Cupcakes!”
7. Those sweet little movements you waited so long for now feel as if you’re about to reenact a scene from Alien.
6. You’re constantly thinking "What will I do if my water breaks here..."
5. Just looking at a glass of water is enough to make you have to pee
4. Suddenly cleaning out your pantry, closet and drawers are more important than world peace
3. You’re feeling very connected to the penguin community
2. You pray you don’t sneeze or cough in public
1. When you drop something you look down and try to decide if it’s something you REALLY need.
And a bonus…You’re craving thin crust pizza and when you get it you open the box and start crying because you forgot to tell them you wanted it to be thin crust.

8 Month Belly Progression Slide Show
Wow! What a difference 6 weeks makes. (I know, I know I forgot to take a picture at exactly a month after the last but hey at least I did remember, that's a feat now days.) I can't believe that I am almost in my last month. It's a bit of an over whelming thought.

Car Accident & A Weird Dog
I was in a bit of a car accident today. I was turning left into a parking lot and didn't see that there was a car coming over the hill in front of me until it hit me as I was turning and I started spinning around. Needless to say there was a lot of crying and panic seeing as how I am 35 weeks pregnant. But I went to the ER and got all checked out and other than a few scrapes and bruises I'm just fine. They did a sonogram on the baby too and he looks just fine as well. When I first got to the ER I was strapped to a board as they were trying to find his heart beat with the Doppler and were having a bit of trouble. I started crying again and Chris assures me they did indeed find his heart beat but I never heard it. I didn't really stop panicking so much until I saw it beating strongly on the sonogram! Thank God for the all cushion we have around our babies!
This is the damage on the side I was hit on. It's not driveable and I am not sure how long it will take to get it fixed. What's hard to see in this pic is how the whole rear end is pushed out.
This is a close up of the bent-in tire and the damage to the door.
This is the muffler that was lying on the ground.
And this is the flat tire that was on the other side of the one that got hit.
On a lighter note... I have the funniest Dog in the world. Gracie decided that she was going to take a nap in the study with me while I was playing on the computer and I was able to get this pic of her in the weirdest sleeping position. I couldn't help but laugh at her but then again I laugh at her most of the time!
I don't know how this can be comfortable!

The Glorious Walk
Now I know why pregnant women waddle. It's just a natural way to start walking other wise you might fall over :) Chris thinks it's cute and said he was a little disappointed that it isn't a bigger waddle. I think I waddle enough considering that I walk so slow I get out stripped by old ladies with walkers. Poor Chris, he has such long legs it really is hard for him to keep up with me.
On a different note, WOW! This kid can kick. He loves to "shark" in my belly and Chris and I love to watch him do it. We call it "sharking" when he will push out on my belly and we can see his arm or foot or whatever rise up and go back down. Shannah was over for dinner the other night and she got to see it for the first time ever. I think it freaked her out a little. :) When he presses his little foot out I love to tickle it. He will pull it back down and then push it back out again as if he is laughing and saying "Momma, do it again!" I can't wait to kiss his little feet and tickle them "for real".

Baby Shower
Tammy and Shannah gave me a beautiful baby shower on Sunday. Here are a few pics!
Here I am at 34 weeks. WOW I'm huge!
Me and my girls Tammy and Shannha
Me and Grandma (my mom)
Me and Nanny (Chris' Mom)
Sheralyn made chocolate molds for the shower and one was a little Tea Cup filled with chocolate moose and this one is a Chocolate Baby.
Here is me chowing down on the Chocolate baby. Shannah thought this was particularly funny :)
It was a great shower and I am so thankful not only to Tammy and Shannah for hosting it but to all those who blessed my son with such beautiful gifts.

Chris Graduated Today!
It's official, after 8 long years of going to school and working full-time Chris graduated today! The ceremony was long of course (2 ½ hours) but at least it wasn't as long as the May or December graduations. Now we begin the fun of paying back student loans.

Nursery Is Done!
After a week and a half of very intense work we finally got our nursery done. My wonderful husband Chris and my sweet friend Shannah did the vast majority of the painting in one night! It was definitely worth the wait on the bedding, I love it! The whole thing took 3 months from planning to installation and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out! I will definitely be using this in my professional portfolio!

Shower date set
We have a Shower date! It's going to be on Sunday August 12th. It's the day after Chris's graduation so that is going to be a busy weekend for us! Shannah made the cutest invitations! I am so excited, the baby shower for you first baby is something you daydream a lot about when you daydream about being pregnant and having your first baby and mine is actually happening, I can't believe it! I feel like I have waited so long for all this to be happening to me. It's a bit overwhelming to think that I am really going to have a son!
